When a product you spray on your lawn claims to be "100% herbal," you should ask a simple question: how do you know? Marketing claims are easy to make. Lab results are harder to fake — which is why we publish ours.
GRAS stands for "Generally Recognised As Safe" — a designation used by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for substances that qualified scientific experts agree are safe under the conditions of their intended use. The key phrase is "qualified scientific experts." GRAS is not a marketing badge; it is a scientific consensus designation backed by published research.
Every active and inactive ingredient in Garden Pleasure® Herbal Lawn Spray holds GRAS status. This means each component has been independently reviewed by scientists and found safe for use in products that come into contact with humans, animals, and plants.

Independent of our GRAS claims, we submitted Garden Pleasure® Herbal Lawn Spray to the Shriram Institute for Industrial Research, New Delhi — one of India's premier independent testing laboratories — for GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) pesticide residue analysis.

GC-MS was used to screen for 64 pesticide compounds across three major categories:
All 64 tested compounds: Non-Detectable (ND). The GC-MS analysis found zero pesticide residues. Not trace amounts — zero.
This is what 100% herbal actually looks like when you test it with instruments rather than assert it with words.
Organochlorine and organophosphate pesticides are classified as persistent organic pollutants. They accumulate in soil, groundwater, and body fat. Children are disproportionately vulnerable because of their lower body weight and higher surface-area-to-volume ratio.
When you spray a conventional insecticide on your lawn, you are depositing compounds that may persist in the soil for weeks or months. Children and pets who play on that lawn are in direct contact with those residues. Our GC-MS result means none of those compounds are present in our product — because our formulation doesn't contain them.
We want to be clear about what the GC-MS result does and doesn't confirm. It confirms the absence of synthetic pesticides. It does not independently confirm mosquito repellency efficacy — that claim rests on published peer-reviewed research on garlic oil's mechanism of action, not on our lab report. The two are separate claims backed by separate evidence.
